About this project

My partner got me into Pokémon cards back in December 2025. What started as a curious hobby quickly turned into something I genuinely look forward to.

I'd been pulling bulk cards and didn't want them to just sit in a pile going nowhere — but Master Sets felt expensive and overwhelming. Then it clicked: a Pokédex collection. One of every Pokémon, in dex order. Simple, satisfying, and actually achievable.

The best part has been trading with friends. There's something genuinely nostalgic about it — swapping cards, seeing what people have doubles of, building the set together. It feels like how Pokémon was always meant to be played.

This site tracks the journey: 1,025 Pokémon, 3 VaultX binders, and the friends who trade along the way. I built it with Claude Code starting at 1 am on February 22, 2026 — the same night I decided to make this official.
